Choosing your colour

Black and white are the two that take other things on top: white gives you a plain canvas for accessories or a second layer, and black works under another costume as well as on its own. Purple, maroon and gold are for when the colour does the work by itself, whether that is everyday fancy dress, a stag group in one shade or a five-a-side team in five. For a design rather than a plain colour, our pattern Morphsuits range covers that.

The Mens Black Morphsuit Costume is the original, invented by us in 2009: a 91% polyester and 9% elastane knit, a see-out mask you can breathe and drink through, sized by height rather than chest or waist, Medium only.

Layer it, accessorise it or wear it plain: the Mens White Morphsuit Costume is a blank canvas in the same four-way stretch knit, with reinforced stitching, Large and XL.

Getting in and out is quick on the Mens Gold Morphsuit Costume, with double zips and the same soft 91% polyester and 9% elastane blend, in Large, XL and XXL.

Silver is the metallic one, and the Mens Silver Morphsuit Costume puts that finish over reinforced stitching, with the MorphCostumes logo on the lower back and sizes from Medium to XXL.

Deep maroon rather than red, the Maroon Morphsuit is a stretchy polyester and elastane blend with a double zip and a mask you can drink through without lifting it.

Sizing, fit and care

Morphsuits are sized by height and weight against our size guide, not by your usual clothing size: Medium covers roughly 5'5" to 5'10" and under 160lb, XXL up to 6'5" and under 250lb. Every costume goes through over 30 measurement checks, and we run more than 500,000 quality checks a year. Wash it by hand in cold water and hang it to dry; never put a Morphsuit in the washing machine or tumble dryer.

Can you see, breathe and drink through a Morphsuit?

Yes. The mask is a see-out fabric you can breathe and take a drink through without lifting it, though vision is softer than bare-faced, so take extra care around kerbs, steps and dark rooms.

Which colour Morphsuit works best for a group costume?

Put the whole stag, hen or team in one shade to code them as a set, or give each person their own colour out of the eleven. Sizing is by height, so everyone measures once and orders their own size.

Do you make Morphsuits for kids?

Yes, several of our solid colours come in kids sizes too, including the Kids Black Morphsuit.

Can I wash my Morphsuit?

Hand wash it in cold water and hang it to dry. Never put a Morphsuit in the washing machine or tumble dryer, since heat and tumbling wear the stretch out of the fabric.
